MISD Foundation for Excellence
Tuition Assistance

Based on the availability of funds the MISD Foundation for Excellence will provide tuition assistance to families who feel the educational opportunities in our system best meet the needs of their children. The primary criterion for approval of an application is need.

Who can obtain tuition assistance?

Out-of-district students who live in Calloway County are eligible. If you are not sure of your eligibility check  at the Board office at 753-4363.

Where can I get an application form?

You can pick up an application form just prior to the deadline at:

MISD Board Office
208 South 13th Street
Murray, KY 42071

Another option is to download the form from the applications tab on this site.  
(Please complete a separate yellow student information sheet for each student.)

How many pages are in the application form?

You need one (1) yellow student information sheet for each student in addition to the four (4) pages in the basic form.

Does the Yellow Student Information Sheet have to be on yellow paper?

No.

When is the application due?

The deadline is April 15 for the following academic year.

When will I be notified of the result?

May 31

Return the form by mail only to the address on the form:

Do not return the form to any school office or to the MISD Board Office.
