Biography

A third generation Murray High graduate, Judge Hall grew up running the halls in the MISD, with a mother who taught for over 30 years and a father who kept the clock at the football games for over 40 years.  Active in the band and speech team, she was a 1982 honor grad and recognized as the outstanding senior English student, French student, and band member.

After graduating law school, she served her country as a JAG officer in the U.S. Air Force during the initial stages of Desert Shield/Desert Storm, stationed at Little Rock AFB, AR;  Elmendorf AFB, in Anchorage, AK, and Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, AZ.  After leaving the military, she became a staff attorney for the disability appeals branch of the Social Security Administration working in Paducah KY and Fargo ND.  In 2009, she was appointed one of 1,200 SSA administrative law judges nationwide, serving in the Raleigh, NC hearing office.  In 2015, she transferred back to Paducah, to settle in Murray due to her aging parents.  The move allowed her youngest son to attend Murray High and be a part of the award winning Tiger band.  In 2020, he became the family’s fourth generation of MHS graduates.

Judge Hall enjoys reading, musical theater, her two spoiled dogs, as well as spending time with her two sons, both of whom are currently Racers.
